New Breed of flash MCUs

Specific markets such as high end motor control and domestic security applications are the targes of the ZiLOG Inc.'s ZNEO 16bit CPU core.

ZNEO features a 16bit solution and can provied up to 128 kilobytes of flash memory, much more processing power and migration option with higher code density. The ZNEO Z16F series is also supported by a suite of development tools including the ZNEO Series Modular Development System (MDS) and cost ranges from $6 to $8 at 500 unit quantities.

Upgragde on Microcontrollers

ZILOG has added it's first 16-bit product along with the Z8 8-bit line. The new MCU will have up to 128 KB flash memory, migration options and higher code density than their previous product.

ZILOG, Inc. was founded in 1974 and now the leading supplier of 8-bit micro logic devices for embedded control and communication applications used mostly in consumer applications.
